This is a beautiful slat side Indian drum was made by hand by the Tarahumara Indians. It measures 12" wide by 18" tall and comes from deep in the Sierra Madre. It was made with hand hewn slats of wood using the native yellow pine of northern Mexico. This is a beautiful drum has clean cow hide stretched over each end and laced with matching rawhide. The bark has been removed from the wood slats to create a decorative drum that is absolutely beautiful and full of rustic charm. Featuring light pine staves and beautiful light colored, heavy cowhide heads and lacing. 12"x18"
